I currently live in beautiful Northern New Mexico; specifically Taos. I will be volunteering for a month in Saigon (October?). I am a Viet Nam veteran. I was stationed with the Navy at Da Nang AB (1971-'72) Just curious wt it is like living as an American expat in Da Nang. Saigon seems to be too big and busy for my taste. Why? Mainly, if the current US administration gets reelected in 2010 I am looking at options. Also, I like moderate climates. Loved living in Honolulu in the early 80s. Lastly , cost of living is a consideration. Would rather pay $500 a month for an apartment rather than the $1,100 I pay now. PS - A friend of Bill W.
