I want to work with at-risk youth.
What's not to like? Seriously... let me know :) I'm undecided between Sydney and Melbourne at this time. I'll decide by the time I submit my application.
I'm scared of the dangerous animals because I won't know anything about them! Better study up.
Lived in San Antonio and San Marcos, Studied at Texas State University, Grew up in Texas :)
Austin: Awesomely liberal in a conservative state, Houston: Urban chic. Texas: Cost of living is really low and you get a lot for your money compared to other states. Texas has a good economy compared to other states. It doesn't snow. The people are friendly. The summers are hot (I like hot). You can drive from any of the major cities (Austin, San Antonio, Houston, or Dallas) to the other in 5 hours max. I have great friends here. Great Universities. A lot of diversity.
San Antonio: Conservative, boring- it is like a retirement community but I have been told it is a great place to raise a family. Dallas: Snobby, conservative. I also don't like San Antonio or Dallas because they are too conservative and there is no focus whatsoever on health. Texas: Close-minded. Uneducated. Sedentary lifestyle. Racist. State and local politics. Rick Perry. Pathetic social welfare programs.
