Présentation
I'm an energy engineer and civil engineer currently on a Zoekjaar Hoogopgeleiden. I also run a small illustration online business and teach both English and mathematics online. I'm originally from the searing cold mountains of Bqarsouna in North Lebanon, but I grew up in the city. I lived for a year in the UK and for a short while in Kuwait, and now in the Netherlands. Did I mention I'm currently learning Dutch. I'd love to connect with you even if we have nothing in common.

Mon parcours
People were nice and hospitable. Shopping malls everywhere. Nice architecture and very nice seaside infrastructure (especially for morning runs).
Not very walkable. If you have no car, you're doomed to endlessly use taxis. Public transportation is unreliable.
I lived in Southampton and studied for my Master's degree in energy and sustainability
Southampton isn't the most exciting place on earth to live, but it grows on you in the most peculiar way. It deceives you and it's charmless, industrial nature, and then casts a spell on you when you least expect it. Life there is quiet and charming. I loved my time there and the city holds a place in my heart forever.
During Christmas and Easter breaks, the city is unbelievably quiet that it could very easily be called a ghost town. I think it's natural for stores to be closed on Christmas Eve because everyone is celebrating, but where I'm from it's the exact opposite.
