Introduction

Originally from Duesseldorf, Germany, I have lived in the United States since 1983. I have called New York City, Washington, DC, and Montpelier, VT my home before relocating to beautiful Stuart, FL about a year ago. I live with my husband and dog, have 2 grown children, and am a passionate chef and sustainable food advocate.

I joined expat.com on 05 April 2021.

I can speak German and English fluently
Some French and Spanish
Interests fishing, biking, I love animals and nature, walking. Cooking and baking are true passions for me. I am a reader and a writer, and am happiest when I am busy and engaged.
