Hi! I am a white south african housewife. My partner and I have been together 7years and still going strong. We have a 6year old daughter who starts primary school next year. I have a BA degree (criminology/psychology) from Unisa. It has not helped much as I am still unemployed. My partner and I want to immigrate to Scotland and have been informed that we qualify for a descendency visa and can work legally in the UK for five years, then apply for permanent residency. We are applying online for jobs in Scotland (as we have been advised to). We are doing research to find out all the costs immigrating will be. Can anyone give me further advice on how to go about this? My partner is a jack of all trades and willing to do any work. We desperately want to leave south africa to enable our daughter a brighter and safer future. So please guys, any advice at all, or helpful information, will be greatly appreciated. It helps to talk to those who have been there, done that!
