Introduction

I'm a Nigerian-American, and I lived for 31 years in the dUSA. In Nov. 2022 I moved to Barranquilla, Colombia for a much-needed change of scenery, environment, and lifestyle. I plan to retire early (or at least live a long time) in Colombia, connect with a community of like-minded progressive individuals, and build relationships that transcend race, color, and creed :)

I joined expat.com on 08 August 2021.

I can speak English, a little Igbo from my childhood, and B1 level of Standard Spanish - broadening my vocabulary week by week using various tools (and full-immersion)
Interests reading, movies, tv, journaling, active lifestyle, making a difference, Social Progress (but NOT American-style Feminism!), teaching ESL (certified) and Science Literacy (uncertified)

Cost of living, access to dating, access to more human connections.
