Introduction
I have lived in Vietnam for 7 years, my wife and Daughter are both Vietnamese nationals and we live in Saigon.
I am a male.
I am married with children. I am employed. I am previously from an Oil & Gas background, working world wide including, The Middle East, West Africa, Yemen, Iraq, before moving into the Renewable energy sector where I am now working has an offshore/inshore Wind Farm specialist working throughout Vietnam.

Expat experience
I moved to Vietnam from The Netherlands in 2014, I married my wonderful Vietnamese Girlfriend in 2015 we now have a beautiful Daughter and living happily in Saigon
I love the Vibrancy of Saigon, The food, The people and lazy weekends in the Countryside with my wife's family
Perhaps the Best city in Europe to live if you are single and especially if you are living on one of the best streets in the Center of Amsterdam (Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal) The 10 years I spent living in that great city was one of the best periods of my life
The vibrent city beat, the cozy winter nights in candle lit old Amstedam cafe's and bars, the wonderful sunny days sitting on the terrace of a canal resturant/Bar..walking through the old streets of Amsterdam, Queens Day (Later became Kings Day) skating (or trying to skate) on the frozen canals and most of all having great Dutch friends..who are still my friends to this day!
Englishmen Stag party weekends who felt that it was okay to urinate and throw-up in peoples doorways
After almost 2 years preforming a Cabaret show on the island of Lanzarote, I moved to Dubai and returned to my normal profession working in the Offshore Commercial Diving Industry, I was working for SMIT Terminals on various projects within the Middle East, mainly Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen and UAE
Dubai was fun and rewarding a sort of 'work hard, play hard' existence. The expat life there as a single guy pretty much centered around the weekends of drinking and villa pool parties / BBQ's, with wonderful colleagues, friends and the lovely girls working with Emirates airlines
Summer heat!!
Took out a long term Villa rental on the island of Lanzarote... I took a break from my Normal job to work with a comedy writer to produce and perform a Cabaret show based on the legendary Tommy Cooper (An evening with Tommy Cooper) and performed in Clubs, Pubs and Hotels on the Island....
A beautiful Island in the sun..amazing beaches, amazing food, amazing people, stunning scenary, great SCUBA diving locations and I enjoyed the success of my show...
Working for Hydrex a company specializing in Underwater Ship repair and Maintenance
The working inviroment, my colleauges, living in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Eating Mussels with a white wine & parsley sauce, French Bread and a chilled bottle of Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc, Belgian Fries with Mayo, my loft apartment that I miss so much!

Born and Bred in 'POMPEY" and proud of it... left home at 16 and Joined the Royal Marines...best thing I ever did! Spent 9 years has a Royal Marine Commando...interesting times....
POMPEY Football Club..Southsea Sea front, Canoe Lake, Sally Port, Dagostino's ice cream, the Mecca (Widows Hop) Friday Nights, My first ever Girlfriend who taught me to kiss and my Dear ole Mum and Dad who are no longer around...
