Hi, I actually live in Manhattan, Kansas, home of Kansas State University, where I'm an academic advisor. My significant other, who owns a business, lives in Topeka, which is about 50 miles away. I was born in Venezuela and lived there till I was 15, so I speak spanish. We are interested in being ex-pats (sort of). What we're thinking is being in either Colombia, Panama , or Costa Rica during the winter months, probably November to April. We're going to Santa Marta for a week visit, and we're interested to know if there is an expatriate community there. Anything you can tell us would be valuable for us. Thanks! KZ
