I'm a former documentary tv writer/director who's worked around the world yet failed to spark any interest here where my wife is Head of Secondary at the Gems Wellington School. I have two young kids and a lifetime of experience working in some of the most deprived communities in the world. I am energetic, personable, get on well with people of all languages, cultures and creeds and see my enforced 'retirement' as an opportunity to open new doors and put to better use the skills I have honed over the years as a film-maker in Somalia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Egypt, Pakistan and elsewhere.
