Paul&Ash, American looking for information about Belize

Introduction

My girlfriend Ashleigh lives in South Africa and I live in South Carolina. I have done a lot and traveled a lot. I have many handy skills and a variety of interests. Currently planning on making a move to Belize in October when Ash will join me, I don't need much but she'd like something habitable. We plan on staying until she gets approved for her visa in the US and maybe we will decide to stay, we are undecided.

I joined expat.com on 11 May 2022.

I can speak Primary language is English, then Spanish is broken but capable of traveling, lastly Swahili but haven't used it in 20 years...

Ash speaks Afrikaans, English and some French.
Interests hiking, volunteering, camping, Canoeing, biking, adventures, kayaking, Simple Living, trail running, exploring..., star gazing, building with my hands, community gatherings, hard work that makes me sweat, being creative to make what's in my mind a reality
