Introduction
A few years back, I was at a crossroads and decided it was time to fulfil my childhood dream: becoming an author. I left my daily job and started writing. I am now an accomplished writer, yet to earn a living from it.

Expat experience
Writing the many stories that fight in my mind.
Sea and forest in the same place. Nature in its splendour. The rich cuisine. The climate. One can grow oranges in here! Fantastic!
The sense of abandonment. Empty villages (like in my country). Lonely elderly are left to themselves.
Field research to write a couple of books on holistic caring for the elderly and the vulnerable.
The clean air, gorgeous surroundings, Snow (I love snow).
Some locals I worked with.
I lived in many places in Italy. The worst thing was... Suffice it to say I wrote a book about it: Ten Years in Italy, Three Weeks a Human.
The city (Florence) is stunning. For an art lover (paintings and marble sculptures) it's pure heaven. Not to mention the Renaissance architecture.
If I told you, I'd probably end up in court. Or with a horse head in bed. Unsure which would be worse.
