Introduction
I will be moving to Uganda in April '12 from Los Angeles, California. We won't be able to take much of anything, so at this point I'm wondering what shall I take given the space and wait will be so little. We will be looking for a place to live, hopefully somewhat nearby to some of you other expats.

I have visited Uganda before with my boyfriend. I'm looking forward to returning there for good in March.
I'll miss my family who will be far away in Los Angeles.
