Hi, I'm an Australian lady and have been working in the Tourism in Southern/Central Africa since 1993, and for the past 13 years I've had my own tour business in Zanzibar. Now I am looking for a change, and just looking for ideas.....I'm now based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I left Zanzibar to join Bali Hai Cruises.
The tropical climate, the lifestyle.

For the first five years I worked as a GM of a tour company.
I loved my job!
Sadly life is tough for an expatriate in Zanzibar.
I found it easy to settle in Johannesburg. I found a job as a tour consultant in a safari company.
The climate, the people, the lifestyle.
The crime element.
Not long after getting married my husband was transferred with his work to Sydney. I found it hard to settle in Sydney and felt very isolated.
Safe, clean, attractive.
Found it hard to make friends, very expensive place to live.
