I am a married man, with three children, two girls and a boy. I did my Primary and Secondary Education in Zimbabwe, and went on to do university studies at the University of Zimbabwe where i majored in English and Shona, with Sociology as my minor subject. I also hold a Graduate Certificate of Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. I have taught English for five years at High school level. I have also taught the subject at Primary Teacher Training College level. I have experience as a Cambridge Examinations "O" Level marker. I also have experience teaching in-service teachers upgrading their qualifications to obtain Diplomas in education. I have held responsibilities as the Head of the English Subject Area, and as a Lecturer-in-charge of the English Subject Area at High School and College level respectively. My responsibilities involved the coordination of the teaching of the subject, marking and evaluation of students work, syllabi development, and assisting the Head with in put on deployment of teachers for the subject. Currently I am working as a Deputy Director in one of the Ministries of the government of Zimbabwe. My wife, who was working for Save the Children UK in Zimbabwe has since moved over to Tanzania where she now works for Save the Children Tanzania, thus necessitating the need to seek for alternative employment in Tanzania in order to join her. I am a hard working person, able to meet dealines, professional in my conduct and able to adapt to new situations. I am willing to learn from colleagues and superordinates for the development of the organization. I have strong communication skills, both oral and written. I am computer literate, and am a very competent report writer. I trust that you will consider me favourably for shorlisting for placement interviews with any of your relevant organizations.
