Introduction

I am a semi-retired charter cruise captain currently working as a consultant to new businesses. My current project is a video game arcade on the west coast of the USA. I am also working with a non-profit charitable foundation on humanitarian projects, primarily in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. I am an experienced grant writer. I am moving to the Philippines soon to join my family.

I am a male.

I joined expat.com on 25 December 2023.

I can speak My native language is English, although I studied Russian and Japanese in the past. My current goal is to learn basic Tagalog
Interests The sea and coasts are my favorite locations. I am interested in humanitarian projects and helping people be able to be self-supporting and self-sustaining. I also love theology and its study and application in daily life.

San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico

I lived in two different locations in this area. In Villa Hermosa and on the Bahia across from the village of San Carlos. I originally went with the idea of setting up a boat-building company but the hidden costs made the project unfeasible. At that time there were about 60 American expats living in the village, now almost none due to the drug cartel influences.
