Hello, I'm Lottie. I started writing a blog in 2011 shortly after moving to Indonesia from London. It originally started out as a sort of Round Robin for family and friends but then it took on a life of its own and has now become much more than that. Although writing my blog is a great way of sharing my experiences and stories, the most wonderful thing that has come out of it, is the amount of people I've met and friends that I've made all over the world. Blogging opens up a whole new world and I can highly recommend it, especially if you are an expat. My original blog was called 'Lottie Nevin- An account of my life in Indonesia' but now that I'm living in Spain, I've changed the title to The Rioja Diaries. You can still read all about my time in Indonesia, hopefully some of them will give you a laugh and you may even find out something that you didn't already know about the worlds largest archipelago. Of course the latest posts are all Iberian themed.
