I currently live and work in France but plan on moving to Norway in the next decade. I have lived in Northen France, near Calais and now live in Southern France, near Toulon. I speak French, English and am learning Norwegian Bokmal at the moment.
I am 32 and I was born on 29 November 1991.
I am single. I am employed. I am state-worker.
I joined expat.com on 27 January 2012.
Start a new life in Norway
The climate, the people and the culture. Alot of things
Some decisions of the Gov. Prices can be insane.
Get my life in check and then move out for good.
The climate and geography.
About everything else.
Went to Isreal for work for 10 days
The country seems very safe. Organisation seems rather good. Very nice landscape and alot of historical or religious places to visit. Good contacts with the fellow military and the expats in Israel.
Prices are insane. I've had rather bad contacts with the locals strangely enough. Had some troubles with law enforcement agencies due to the origins of some of my fellow workers.
Went to Cyprus for work for a full month.
Not alot to be fair. Landscape seemed very nice but due to work I could barely move around. Lots of expats, people seemed nice enough.
Polluted, some prices can be stupidly high in comparison to their wages.
Went for holidays for a full month. Been to Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand, Lillehammer, Notodden, Heddal.
About everything.
Some of the prices. Some neighbourhoods or details.
Went for holidays for a a few weeks in a few cities.
Very nice place. Clean, quiet, nice people.
Maybe a little unsettling about having two languages in the same country.
Moved to Spain for 1 month every year for about 10 years. Went on diving and hiking expeditions.
Weather, landscape.
