Middle aged couple looking to spend 5 or 6 months living abroad somewhere tropical. Spent a month working in Sri Lanka in the past and am now thinking of buying property there (Matara area) to live in during the british winter and maybe buy another couple of houses to do up and rent out as well. Would welcome any advise on any aspect of the above. Planning a trip out there in the next month to gather information. Any advise or tips please.
