home in Salinas

In June of last year my husband and I moved here from Texas to retire. We started in Ballenita, although a lovely place we both liked Salinas much better. After almost three months we had completed our residency papers and shortly after, closed on our condo. We had a short time together before he got sick and we had to return to the states where he died of leukemia in January. I returned in late Feb. to our home by the sea where he was happier than he had ever been.
