My wife and I would be coming from Pontypool Ontario, East of Toronto. We would like to know where there are places to rent and possibly buy near a beach. We are planning a trip to Panama City this December (2012) for a week and another trip in the spring of 2013 for two weeks with a permanent move that fall or early winter of 2014. any advice would be aprreciated. Is it safe to rent a car in Panama City and drive to different areas in Panama?
