I am a professionally trained with Specialist Teacher status (OCR Level 7 Certificate in Assessing and Teaching young people with Specific Literacy Difficulties. I set up an assessment centre to support young people with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties in Maadi, Cario a couple of years ago and just about to start my new job at El Gouna International School as Head of Learning Support and Specialist Teacher. My plan is to provide support and guidance to families and schools to ensure the successful inclusion of young people with specific learning difficulties. My experience in Cairo is that vulnerable children are taken advantage of and I work on the high British morals and values that children come first and everyone should be treated as individuals. As a Senior Advisory Teacher for young people with Learning Difficulties in England I provide a full support programme which starts with a full assessment so we can pin point the learning difficulty, planning personal intervention programmes, designing and making resources to support your child's learning to attending school meetings in your child's school to ensure their continued inclusion and progress is monitored closely. I am very much a people's person where children are at the centre of all that I do. Please feel free to contact me should you require my support.
