That's partially correct $1,800 is enough to live, however, not enough to get a permanent Visa,I don't think. You really need to go to the Mexican consulate to try to get the perminant Visa. You both will need to show a reserve income or ... Read More

Yes, I agree with you. I never have to worry about paying American Credit Cards, I use the funds in my CitiBank and monthly I transfer US dollars to my Citibanamex account which converts into Pesos. Yes I use the Banamex ATM for my pocket money ... Read More

As I have lived in Morelos for almost 6yrs. I knew I wanted a permanent Visa. 6 years ago if you had a temporary visa you needed to reregister I believe annually at the boarder. Having a perminent visa makes your life so much easier. You can ... Read More

May I suggest that you have your accounts in CitiBank. Here in Mexico the sister bank in CItiBanamex. a part of CITI GROUP. The transfer is a no charge. There is only a 2% charge which is fair. You can go onto OANDA Currency ... Read More
