Introduction

My husband & I are actually LIVING in Belize, right now. Since August 1, 2012. However, we are VERY disillusioned with our findings & living in Belize. So, we are going back to the USA, soon. We have seen & done SO many things, in the past 10 months. We have met the most wonderful people. We've eaten at just about every restaurant, in the town of San Ignacio. We do not have a car, so we ride the bus, everywhere. It's only $1.50 BZ, per person, one way. VERY cheap, & a wonderful way to go! You can get ANYwhere, in the country, by bus. It may take all day to get to your destination, but you'll be satisfied that you did. We need to know about who we need to contact to leave the country. We are going to Mexico & leaving from there. If anyone can tell us, please do. Thank you... for all new expats... Be aware: drinking water, is a necessity. You will have to carry your own. Bathing water: either comes from the town's water supply, or delivered to your water tanks, or well water. It's cheap. 5 gallons is $2.50 BZ refilled, 1,500 gallons is $150 BZ, delivered. SO cheap! Cars are expensive & really old! You can import your car, if you're QRP, it won't cost you anything for duty or taxes, if you do this before the year is done. Good luck & have FUN!! The people are the most gracious anywhere!! Sincerely, Annie
