I am 61 and my wife is 56 and are both essentially at the end of our careers either by choice or circumstances. My wife got the idea of moving to Costa Rica after attending an International Living Seminar. I'm still a little luke-warm to the idea, since I don't really know what all is involved in both doing the move and living there. I speak Spanish relatively well, but my wife speaks just beginning level. We are both immersing ourselves in learning the language. We hope to go down there later this year for a look-see. Would love to hook up with some expats there who can give us the honest scoop on things.
