Hi, My name is Stefania, I am Italian, I was born in Bergamo. I am a single mother and my kids are grown up. My kids are respectively 21 and 18 years old. All my family and friends still living in Italy, but for the last 12 years I have been living in Melbourne, Australia so you can imagine how is difficult for me to live so far away. I find that Melbourne is getting really hard to live in because is very costly, hard to find a keep a job, is very hard to make friends and I missing out of all my family have gone through, like birthdays, christening, communions, weddings, Christmases, Easters, sicknesses, and milestones. I am considering to relocate in England, but I need to do some research first. I like to know how is life over there, is it expensive, is it hard to find friends and work? Are there opportunities for new comers, I am not a fan of cold weather and was thinking of living and working in South East England, Like Eastbourne or Hasting or anything in that area, can anyone give me few tips or some direction, I am very concern, I wouldn't want to relocate to realise that I made a mistake and have to come back to Australia or go somewhere else. The reason I choose England to relocate is because It is only 1 hour airplane from my family and after many years living outside Italy and also for the way things are going over there I would want to live in it. I know every one is talking about the world spread recession and we feel it in here as well, as matter of fact yesterday I went in the most buzzing fashion street and every other store was closed or about to close, every day we are bombarded with news of people getting laid off from jobs, I have been unemployed for 4 months now, I found a job, worked for 3 weeks and without notice I got let go again and didn't get paid yet, its sad !!!! I can't take it anymore and I want to leave, but not sure if is the right decision and have no one to talk to about it beside my family which off course would love for me to relocate, but they all have their life and certainties and are not in my shoes which at this moment is "not even with flyes in my hand" as we say in italy, "senza un pugno di mosche" Thank you for taking your time to read this and please drop me a line . I NEED HELP
