After moving to Oregon over 20 years ago, I retired early last year from Oregon Dept of Child Welfare. My only sister and just about all extended family still live in another state, and I am long divorced with no children, so free to live just about anywhere I choose. I have recently become rather caught up in interest and enthusiasm for living in Central or South America; I have gone through my Uruguay week, Chile week, Panama week, and now finally think I like Ecuador best of all, and probably Cuenca there. Still have lots to learn, getting as much info as I can from Internet, but learning about a single far country can be tedious. Hoping some folks here will be willing to share some info and thoughts about Cuenca and Ecuador in general.
