Berlitz Cultural Consulting delivers cross cultural programs all over the world for people who are being relocated by their company. Our trainers need assistance from people who have the experience of living and working in the target area. "Resources" are familiar with the local culture and customs. The role involves answering questions and talking from experience about life in your area (social life, best places to live, safety, and other practical topics that a newcomer would want to know). Our goal is to familiarize these participants with the area's culture so that they may have smoother transitions and more successful assignments. Normally, there would be nothing formal to prepare and our trainers would be in contact in advance to discuss more specifics (topics, questions, etc). If you are interested, I can put your name and contact information in my records and when a program comes up (these are random) that requires your expertise, I would contact you to check your availability.
