Hi! We are a married couple from Cincinnati, OH. Patrick is 39 and Kelli is 28 and we are starting to seriously consider Belize as an early retirement option. We have been to San Ignacio and Ambergris Caye in 2011 and although we loved them both, we didn't feel as if they were the spot that we want to spend the rest of our lives. We are looking to visit Caye Caulker and Corozal in November of 2012 and a trip in the future to MonkeyTown, Placencia and Punta Gorda in the future. We are eager to hear from expats that are currently living in Belize to see what they think about a 5 1/2 year timeline for us to make the move. We say retire, but we will want to have some activities or run a small business, bed and breakfast etc. to enjoy our time. We look forward to hearing from you!!
