Borned and raised until 12 in Burundi, I am Belgian but feel as a global citizen. My life is focused on international and therefore I make a career abroad, for the passion of travelling but also for interest in cultural exchanges.
I joined expat.com on 23 October 2012.

Most of my time I am busy with my work. During week-end I sometimes go in clubs with colleagues and enjoy the beach of "résidence la Brise". At night I like to have dinner at "la marina" or "la vie est belle". Great Ndolé are delivered at "la marmite de mole".
People are honest and very welcoming. The beaches are gorgious and almost empty!
Kribi is boring during the week. People come here mainly during week-end to enjoy the beaches.
I spent all my week-ends in Lausane at that period because my girlfriend lived there.
The Leman Lake is great, especially when seen from the top of the city and when there is no fog.
People are not welcoming and you feel that you are a foreigner. I haven't really like this atmosphere and would prefer not to live there again. However, for holiday, Switzerland is great. It has to be noted as well that life is quite expensive there.
I rent a flat in Grenoble as I work as project manager for engineering company based there.
Grenoble is really a great city with nice mountains all around. The surrounding is gorgious. It is for sure the best city where I've been living.
France is always on strike ... :-)
I passed my college and engineering degree in Liege. My family is from this city and my parents are based there. Hence I used to be in Liège for the holidays.
The "Square" is a great place to enjoy a bear with friends and local people. Place Saint Lambert is very nice with great shops.
The rail station is wonderful but really too big for the city. Moreover, the city is quite dirty.
I was born in Bujumbura and grew up there. I went to school at the autonomous Belgian school.
Tanganyika Lake is great. I used to play golf in Bujumbura which is part of my best memories.
Crocodiles in the lake :-) Civil war started in October 1993 and political situation stays fuzzy. Security issues are still reported.
