Hello, my name is Henry Boddington. I am British and have just moved to Bergen from the UK with my Norwegian wife. I will start work for an American engineering firm in the oil and gas sector at the beginning of December, 2012. I lived temporarily in Norway before in Trondheim, but the move to Bergen is a permanent one and represents a complete career change for me. Whilst I am very keen to integrate as much as possible into Norwegian life, it is really important, I think, to have relationships with people who share a similar cultural history and understanding.
