Hello! I am American student at the University of Vermont in Burlington and I have joined the blog in the hopes of obtaining a little bit of information about life in Jeddah and the surrounding areas for a semester-long cultural anthropology project I've been working on. Basically, the project requires us to research all cultural aspects of a specific geographic location on the globe, mine being Western Saudi Arabia, and report both factual and authentic information. Our last assignment requires us to contact residents from our area of research to get information and thoughts from primary sources. Through my research, I have become interested in the role of expatriates in Saudi society and therefore I am looking for any current residents that would be interested in answering a few questions so I may have more personal information rather than straight facts.
