My wife(Colombian) and Iare strongly considering retiring in Ecuador...just beginning to research...need info like safety/transportation from Quito to coast/Cuenca/Vilcabamba..info re: best way to have money available for use(ie open bank acct./use credit cards to access funds in USA from Ecuadoran banks/ use ATM(s)/ apartment/house rental...best way to take pets(cat and dog)
