My partner and I live on the Gold Coast but we are both originally from Europe, I grew up in Berlin and my partner in the UK. We would like to retire in Europe but could not stand a cold climate after nearly 50 years her so Malta seems the ideal spot also from an economical point of view. I would be interested in any expats opinion, re the life in Malta. Might be big change from a big continent to a small island, but then again there is the mainland not far. The car rules in the blog are going back to 2011 what are the latest rules I wonder.
