I'm a recently graduated MSc Biochemistry student from the University of Pretoria. My sister has been living in Belgium since 2005 and has started a family here - she now has Belgian citizenship and recently gave birth to her first child. As she's all alone here, and as I'm starting my career and am currently able to "pick up and leave" South Africa, I want to find a job in Belgium so I can be close to her and start a stunning life in Europe. I would love any research position (love being in a lab) and am looking for a job in Flanders. I am considering doing my PhD but would have to get to know my supervisor and the lab before I jump into it. I speak Afrikaans and English, and as Afrikaans evolved from Dutch it is very similar and therefore I have a basic knowledge of Dutch. I would love to learn French too. I am currently visiting my sister in Belgium and can therefore go for face-to-face interviews.
