I come from northern district of Bangladesh i.e., Bogra. I left Bogra after my high school. Then I lived in Rangpur, Chittagong, Khulna, St. Martin's island and now living in Dhaka. After my college, I was in Bangladesh Navy and served there for 13 years, left navy when I was a Lt. After leaving Navy, I was living on St. Martin's Island and with the island people started natural resources management and conservation NGO on the island. In 2001, I handed over the NGO's activities to the island people and started living in Dhaka.
