My family and I migrated from Chennai, India in July 2012 and have settled in Adelaide on a PR. I have over two decades of work experience in the fields of being a Hotelier, Builder and a Lawyer. My move to Australia was based on advice, research and a zeal for adventure. Have been lucky to meet quite a few people and many of them are "extra-special". In a short span of six months, I have settled fairly well (I certainly hope so!!) and like the place, its people and its multicultural diversity. I work in the Disability sector and like my job. Colleagues and bosses are nice and good to work with. Strong work ethics are practised here and jobs are available only IF you fit the requirements. Probably the best advise I got before I made the move to Australia was from my Adeladian Mentor who said: " If you have the slightest doubt, don't come."
