I am currently living in America and I'm American. Everyone in the US is from somewhere else its a melting pot of immigrants. The American Indian which was the true American had its lands stolen from it during the war by the English military. My great great grandparents are from Ireland and Portugal. I am engaged to a Brazilian man, and up until a a couple years ago I never dreamed I might be moving to Brazil quite frankly up till a few years ago I thought the United States was the center of the universe. That has changed however, and although I am grateful that I was born in the US for all the opportunities for a decent life and the rights we have I am disappointed at what has happened here. My thoughts have changed. I will be moving to Brazil probably in a year, and I would like to meet other Americans living there. I want to learn Portuguese and become a writer. I figure that living in Brazil will give me all .the free time I will need to pursue the cauldron of mischievous thoughts that I have simmering in my head (and it's quite a bit) :)
