I'm from Norfolk, Virginia. I'm a Oil & Gas professional, and would like to relocate permanently to Cape Town, Durban, Sunwich Port, S. Africa. Just not sure where? I've worked in other parts of Africa, and love it. Interested in buying a house. Thank you, Eugene V. Lynch Jr.

A beautiful country.
Don't try to bring democracy there. It don't work. Waste of my tax dollars, and every other American who ever set foot there. Stay out.
Built a power plant in Iquitos
Everything from the outdoor concerts, board walk on the Amazon, nite life is awesome, food is great, and the people are wonderful. A poor economy, best transportation is taxi. Prices can be compared to western rates, if your taste are expensive like mine. I don't like to ruff it.
Visited Voltran Transformer factory
One of this most beautiful city's I ever visited. Everything was great about it, food, people, hotels etc..
Worked on a government contract
It's a beautiful country, great sunsets. Other than that, stay out if your not Muslim!!!
Built a power plant there
Great food, the best ever. They have every nationality there from all over the world. You can have just about any kind of cuisine you can imagine. Contrary to popular belief, you can drink alcohol there. You just need to know a Kuwaitte to do it, or buy what we call Sadekee" from the local indian migrant workers there. It's the rock gut version of moonshine" here in the states. From my observation, the Kuwait people are two faced to Americans & Brits. They are not friendly, very wealthy snobs, not rich snobs, wealthy snobs, and I think we should have left them to their own demise when Saddam Hussien invaded their country. Go to Bahrain, Abi Dubai, or Dubai. You will have a much better time, trust meeeeee!!!!
The people
