I got my Visa from Chiang Mai today. They knocked me down to just 60 days one entry. In fact, the girl at the counter told me that's what I'd get before she even looked at my form. They seem to make it up as they go along - depending on ... Read More

@Catherine - Are you sure I can get a Visa inside China? I asked this question once on a forum, and the answer was - no. Is this legal? Has anyone else got a visa INSIDE China? (in recent times). @Alven - A 30 day L-Visa is definitely not ... Read More

Visa Extensions in Leshan by inwestend
Are (Tourist) Visa extensions at the Leshan PSB still easier than Chengdu PSB? Has anyone extended a visa recently? Apparently, the rules have changed - and some places in China won't extend tourist visas now.
@Alven. To be clear - are you saying that I could have got my M-Visa without leaving China? Is that what you're telling me? You're asking if I have other contacts... why? Are you a Software Developer? Read More

Do you have any experience or knowledge of getting a Chinese visa based upon doing consulting work (NOT as a regular employee) with a company in China? If so, I would very much appreciate talking or corresponding with you. I am an American, ...
Maybe it's an M-Visa, not a Z-Visa. I am getting an M-Visa soon, and I'll be consulting a tech company in Shanghai. It's not full-time. I won't always need to be on-site to work. I'm not working as an employee - but I've ... Read More
