Hi there, I lived 8 years in Beijing, China before moving to Phuket. What a brilliant escape! I am sooo not missing the pollution, the crowds, the spitting, you name it. I am riginally from Geelong, but lived many years in Sydney and Newcastle (which is just like Geelong, before moving to Beijing on a 2-year assignment. I stayed on at the end of the 2 years, for many reasons, but enough is enough. I am keeping my Beijing-based business, and will commute when needed.
