I was born in Michigan; I studied in Boston; and I began my career in Los Angeles (a city I still surprisingly consider home). Since 2010, with the beginning of my Peace Corps service in South Africa, until now, with my employment as an English teacher through Al-Khaleej, I have been joyously bouncing all over the world (Africa, Europe, South America). Travel has become an essential part of my life. It along with poetry, teaching, long hikes, and roof-top time-wasting defines much of who I am.
