I was born and raised in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to British parents who moved there from UK. Currently working for Swatch in Jeddah as an assistant supply chain manager.
I joined expat.com on 01 July 2013.
The weather is amazing, the people are so friendly, the city is so beautiful. There's always something happening in Singapore!
It's expensive and can be quite busy at times. Those are the only problems I've had with Singapore so far :)
I moved back to Jeddah to find a decent job.
Working conditions are good, colleagues are friendly, cost of living is cheap as chips.
1.) The SUN. 2.) The lack of rules or regulations when it comes to driving. 3.) The lack of a proper social life. 4.) The awkward weekend. 5.) My working hours. 6.) The lack of a proper social life (deserves to be mentioned twice I think).
I studied for three years at Leeds Metropolitan University.
The social life, the weather (surprisingly), the whole city in general I enjoyed.
It was expensive and there were lots of drunk people to avoid at night.
This is where I grew up!
The international group of friends I had and the compound I lived on.
The heat, the lack of things to do with friends outside of the compound I was living in.
