Right now I am developing the new program call "3 3 PROJECT" for expats who would like to travel to China, to get them familiar with Asian culture, Chinese language and local environment. Like any foreigner here I was also a newcomer, there are always some difficulties, but life is boring without challenge!
Of corse it should be mentioned that Shanghai is a particular city of China where you can built the life you want for yourself - yoga muster or "party animal" up to you!Dynamic and fast growing, full of carrier opportunities combined with any leisure activities Shanghai makes expats to stay here longer...
Crowded... and lack of nature....Sure the local government did their best to create beautiful green parks and garden around the city, but it still very difficult to find a peaceful spot...common thing for megapolis I guess...
I was doing my summer school exchange program.
I really enjoyed the nature there...it is the best place for hiking and camping in the whole world!!!..fresh air,.crystal lakes, endless mountain picks cowered with the snow even during the summer...some places you can see deers walking on the streets!
A bit quite place in comparison with well know American tourist spots like LA or NYC...depends on what are you looking for, hard to remember something bad...but yeah, the public transportation network is not so developed, so the easiest way to rent the car in order not to be dependent on bus schedule.
