RE: Puerto Plata I am a divorced,retired young man in my mid 60's.........considering living full time in Puerto Plata. My concerns are the same as most others........safety..electricity, water, phone..etc. Proximity to public transportation ( for a while)...food markets....restaurants....and places where I can meet other people.....Dominicans and ex-pats alike.
