My wife and I are thinking of retiring within the next 12-24 months and investigating South & Central American locations. I was attracted to Equador (and plan on visiting for 1st time) and especially this yet to be built coastal golf community (Los Olas)...I'm an avid golfer and my wife and I really want to retire to an ocean front or view home (but I would like access to golf). There doesn't seem to be any other options in Equador. I believe we've priced ourselves out of Costa Rica (our other consideration).
