Greetings! My family and I have moved from Hawaii, partly to escape Fukushima radiation for a bit longer, if possible. I have a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication and have spent the last four years involved in real-world design, rather than visual graphics. I have been creating organic edible landscapes and doing general landscaping and organic gardening for the last four years. During my last year in Hawaii, I provided a zero-emissions, human powered lawn and garden service. I would love to stay involved in the same kind of work. It would be great if my family and I (wife, two kids- 5 and 6) could land in a work/trade situation on Reunion Island in which I can garden and my wife could have space to create and work. She is an AMAZING seamstress capable of sewing just about anything. I am a fairly decent all-around handyman slash caretaker capable of changing a wild yard into an enjoyable, parklike setting full of culinary wonders. TRUE WEALTH is greatly, in my mind food security and the improved quality of life created by households being close to and involved in the growth and production of their own healthy food. The climate in Hawaii was great for this, but the Pacific ocean is just not the best place to raise kids any more. The biggest obstacles to relocating to reunion Island are: We don't speak French ! (But are learning), and finding a place to live and work without any experience on the island... But I know it can be done! Any help would be greatly appreciated. feel free to email me agritecture2012@gmail.com MERCI
