I am from Chicago, currently living in a no horse berg called Skokie. I am a writer currently working on a novel. First left the country in 1968 after refusing induction into the army. Returned to the States 5 years later and moved to San Fransisco. Also lived in Big Sur and Pacific Grove, just down from Cannery Row. From there wild times with beatnik survivors and survivors of every ilk. From there to sea as a Merchant Marine. Also shipped out of New Orleans. 15 year stint in Chicago as an Addictions Counselor with breaks every few years to go to sea. Sideline by health problems the past 7 years. Feeling better now and am ready to continue the adventure.
