I am originally from London, England. I moved to live and work in Berlin in 2007 and stayed there for a year. I love that city. I then moved to Madrid, Spain where I also lived and worked for 15 months. Now I find myself back in Germany, this time in Hamburg living and working. I loved Berlin for how spread out the city was and that everything wasn't in one place, and coming from London it is so cheap it is almost unbelievable. I loved Madrid for it's weather, the football, how easy it was to watch and play multiple times a week, and I love the Spanish language. And Hamburg, well in my opinion, while it is nice to live there for a couple of months, I found that if you are like me, from a big city like London, and lived on your own, you quickly ran out of things to do. The weather is terrible most of the year and the places to go out are very limited. But anyway, I left because I just don't like the place. Now I am back in good old Berlin.

Weather, football (soccer), Spanish (language), Oddly (for a big city) one of the safest places I have ever lived.
Crowded, a little expensive, too much cigarette smoke, very lax time keeping, long queues,
I was born and raised here. And spent over 27 years of my life living in this city.
The variety of people.
Way too crowded, very expensive, public services do no justify the cost paid for them, government is poor and seems to mimic decisions made by US government.
