Hi, glad you got your refund. I did too, but still interested in Las Olas in summer of 2015 I am a widowed/divorced, retired Californai real estate broker. I did send a deposit to be a Founder member of Las Olas. But cannot visit until Febraury, when, I assume I will be impressed enough to pay my balance of $20,000 and commit to $2,000 a month payments. I like the condos for my needs, just me and my standard poodle. I look forward to walking the beach daily and riding horseback. I am a hobby golfer, but maybe will improve while living there. I hope to find the right volunteer work to do that will fill my needs to share my gifts. Maybe through the Catholic church or shoes for school kids, or dog rescue. I am keeping a home in Colorado and letting one of my daughteres live in it until I come back for holidays and graduation and wedding (grandchildren) visits. I have always been a gypsy. My four grown kids are not thrilled about this new idea of mine, but they know I do like to move and look forward to this new relaxed life style in my fourth quarter of living. My only two concerns, thus so much research online, are if/when the project is completed and learning Spanish. Looking forward to meeting you all on this link and eventually in Las Olas or nearby. I may rent for a year in Bahia de Caraqauez during construction phase, to be sure I like living there and don't miss my family too much. Adios, Mary Pat PS I also know how to say "banos, bibliotecha, and cervesa", So at least I can have a beer and go to the bathroom in the library.
