I am from South africa and have lived in Italy for 43 years between Firenze and Siracusa where I now live. I live in Ortigia the historic centre of Siracusa, it is an Island linked to the mainland city by 3 bridges. I rent out an apartment on the ground floor of my house and have written a cookery book called "My 600 Recipes"
